Travelers coming from Mexico do not need mandatory vaccines to enter India. Some vaccines (like Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B or Typhoid) may be recommended depending on your travel plans.

CURRENCY
Indian Rupee (INR) as its cash currency. The easiest options to obtain this are:
- Withdraw cash from ATMs at the airport.
- Exchange money at airport exchange counters.
Credit cards are accepted in most hotels and restaurants, but cash is helpful for smaller purchases, and for informal shopping and transport.
WEATHER
The weather in New Delhi in November is sunny and pleasant during the day (25 – 30 degrees), with mornings and evenings getting a bit cooler. We recommend packing light summer clothing, but also jeans/pants and light jackets/sweaters during temperature drops.

Travel advice – FAQ
Unfortunately, there are no direct flights from anywhere in Mexico to India, so all journeys will involve at least one stop.
US connections through cities like Chicago, Houston or New York tend to be the quickest (total travel times 21–24 hours). In Europe, London is a particularly convenient option thanks to direct onward flights to New Delhi, while other hubs such as Paris or Frankfurt also offer other options (total travel time 22-25 hours).
Given the current situation, we recommend avoiding routes through the Middle East for now.
